Troopers Say 34-Year-Old Man Escaped Custody & Is Now On $350,000 Bail

On June 22, 2023 The Alaska State Troopers Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU)in Fairbanks began an investigation of Zachary Phillips (age 34 of Fairbanks).
Phillips had escaped from custody in Fairbanks on June 3rd, 2023. Phillips had $350,000 in felony warrants for his arrest for Escape III and violating conditions of release.
On June 23, 2023 CSU located Phillips in Glennallen where he was hiding out. The Alaska State Troopers stationed in Glenallen then contacted and arrested Phillips on his outstanding warrants. Phillips was remanded to jail where he is being held on $350,000 bail.
