Glenn Highway Was Partially Closed At Mile 113, Troopers Said
Two Others In Vehicle Were Injured, But Not With "Life Threatening" Injuries, Law Enforcement Reports

On June 23, 2024 at 8:54 am the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a single vehicle rollover near mile 113 of the Glenn Highway near Sheep Mountain.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a pickup truck traveling southbound left the roadway for unknown reasons and rolled over. One of the three occupants of the truck, 23-year-old Anchorage resident Samuel Brown, did not survive the rollover and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver and another passenger were transported to a Mat-Su area hospital for medical treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Brown’s body is being transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, and his next of kin have been notified. The Glenn Highway was partially closed as troopers documented the scene and tow trucks removed the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
