On 6-14-23, Parks Highway Alaska State Troopers received a report of a male that had not been heard from for two days. There was no specific location the male could be.

An AST trooper and an Alaska Wildlife Trooper started a search on the Denali Highway based on a hunch the male went that direction. The male's car was located at mile 95 of the Denali Highway.

Further searching, troopers located the male at mile 35 of the Denali Highway where he had been walking for two days. The male was placed into protective custody and later transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
