The Glennallen Bike and Walking Trail, which runs on the edge of the actual roadway of  the Glenn through Glennallen, has been more clearly defined.

In the past few days, a broad swath of white paint has been put down to delineate where the "Bike Trail" is.

The Glennallen Trail, unlike most other community bike trails throughout the state, goes through town sharing the actual highway tarmac.

In other places in Alaska, bike trails are often on their own clearly defined paved paths in the adjacent grassy highway right-of-way, and do not share pavement used by vehicles.

Motorists have not been able to understand that the trail isn't a second lane of the Glenn, headed toward Anchorage.
