45-Year Old Chistochina Man Arrested For Assault, Troopers Say

On 1/1/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Glennallen and VPSO’s received a report of a domestic disturbance in Chistochina, Alaska.  

VPSO’s responded and contacted Shawn Sanford (45) from Chistochina.  It was later determined that Sanford had physically assaulted an adult female.  Sanford was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree DV, Unlawful Contact in the First Degree and two separate charges of Violating Conditions of Release.  

Sanford was transported to the Alaska State post in Glennallen pending arraignment.
