Five Snowmachiners Have Gotten Into Trouble At Eureka Summit & Needed To Be Rescued In The Last Few Weeks

On The Same Day, A Juvenile Was Injured & Rescued By Helicopter Near Eureka

On 02/16/2025 at approximately 1620 hours, Troopers took a report of a male who was buried in the snow and separated from his group in the Eureka area. 

The caller was able to get himself out of the snow but unable to get back to the trail. Troopers responded. With the assistance of some good Samaritans, the male was located and assisted back to the highway. No injuries reported.
