Lost Your U.S. Government Job?

Hawaii Wants You!

The Governor Wants You To Come Join Their 'Ohana!

Sunny Hawaii – with its warm surf, sandy beaches, shave ice, waterfalls and flip flops – wants you.

The State of Hawaii has been struggling with a 24% work vacancy rate in state government, according to the news site, Civil Beat. It's been a huge problem. But now, there's a solution: trained federal workers who were kicked out of their jobs in the past few weeks.

The Governor of Hawaii is offering fired workers a new life. A way to turn those lemons into lemonade. A chance to recuperate after being rejected.

...In a place where life really IS a beach.

On February 18th, 2025, after noticing that the U.S. is now packed with roving bands of highly skilled jobless federal workers, the State of Hawaii has launched a major work force outreach project.

The state is fast-tracking qualified candidates for a number of fields including accounting, agriculture, the attorney general's office, budget & finance jobs, economic development and tourism, commerce and consumer affairs, corrections and rehabilition, defense, health, human resources, human services, labor and industrial relations, natural resources, law enforcement, taxation, transportation, public libraries, the University of Hawaii – and Hawaiian homelands.

They aren't going to do this "Island Time" either. (Island Time is what you'll be doing as you hang out under your Tommy Bahama beach umbrella on the weekends.)

The Governor says he'll expedite the hiring process and that "Qualified applicants can
be hearing from hiring managers shortly."

He's serious. He even put out an Executive Order to that effect. (See by clicking)

Aloha!
