On Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told the public:
“Parents should get their children vaccinated for measles. A measles vaccine is effective, it stops measles in about 97% of the cases. People should get vaccinated.”
There are currently 37 new measles outbreaks across America this year. The United States announced in the year 2000, 26 years ago, that measles had been "eliminated."
