Warrant Arrest, Failure To Appear, DUI Incident On August 17th, 2021, Troopers Say

On 08/17/2021 at approximately 0030 hours, Glennallen AST conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup truck for speeding near 111.5 Richardson Hwy. Investigation revealed the driver, Ian Wetherhorn, age 40 of Valdez, had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Assault 3rd and Leaving the scene of an accident. Ian was placed under arrest on the active warrant, transported and held at Glennallen post with bail set at $500.

On 08/17/2021 at approximately 1915 hours, Glennallen AST contacted Yvette Lemaster,53 yoa of Gulkana, during an investigation. Yvette showed to have an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for remand hearing on the original charge of PTRP-ASAP . Yvette was placed under arrest, transported and held at Glennallen post. Yvette will be transported to MSPT so she can serve the remainder of her 3 day sentence.

Type: DUI, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test and Warrant Arrest

On 08/11/2021 at approximately 2116 hours, Glennallen AST stopped a silver 4 door car for an equipment violation. AST investigation revealed the driver identified as Galen Frank, 34 yoa of Gakona, was driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Further investigation revealed one of the passengers identified as Craig Titus, 35 yoa of Fairbanks, had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear at arraignment on the original charges of DUI and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. Frank and Craig where placed under arrest. They were transported to Glennallen post for processing. Frank declined to provide a sample of his breath for the Datamaster and was subsequently charged with Refusal and the DUI. Both were processed and released per the bail schedule with future court dates.
