 State Declares 2,452 New Counted Cases In A Week, Including 272 Tourist-Related Illnesses  

Hot Spots Include Anchorage, Juneau, Homer, Kodiak, Aleutians, Eagle River, Palmer 


Twenty-five people in the Copper Valley were reported coming down with Covid this week, the State of Alaska said in its weekly report on Wednesday, June 15th.  

Of 2,452 reported cases this week in Alaska, 548 were non-residents. Of the non-resident cases,  272 were listed as: "at sea; purpose of tourism." 

NOTE: With home testing and looser monitoring, these figures are only of reported cases.
