On 6/16/22, Orlan Castronuevo, age 47 of Anchorage, was cited for a proxy fishing violation.  Castronuevo was in possession of a chinook salmon he stated he caught with a dipnet for a beneficiary.  Castronuevo did not have in possession the beneficiary's Chitina Personal Use Dipnet Permit.  The unlawfully taken chinook was seized and Castronuevo was issued a summons to appear in Glennallen Court on 7/19/22.
