Truckers Will Drive The Tree From Seattle To Nation's Capital

For the second time since 2015, Lynden Transport will deliver the National Christmas Tree to the nation's capital.

Two long-time truckers -- with (says the trucking company) a combined million "safe miles" of driving, will transport this year's national tree.

They are Frank Austin and John Schank. Schank took a tree to DC last time it was from Alaska, 9 years ago. The truck is scheduled to stop at parks, fairgrounds, parades, and theaters along the way before the tree arrived at the West Lawn at the U.S. Capitol Building.

Their truck is specially wrapped in a colorful logo for highest impact in the towns and communities they pass through.
