The Alaska Earthquake Center, which collects vital data from seismology stations around Alaska, has lost its monitoring contract.

When an earthquake strikes with the potential to bring on a deadly tsunami, or tidal wave, a statewide warning system goes out, almost instantly, to warn the public.

This is now apparently a thing of the past. Data will stop coming in by mid-November, in about a week or so.
