On 07/03/2026 at 1924 hours Glennallen Troopers were dispatched to an airplane accident near the mouth of the Kotsina River on the Copper River. Investigation revealed a plane landed on a sandbar while checking a fishwheel. After it landed it tipped, causing minor damage to the plane. There were no injuries, and occupants didn't want or need assistance.
