Arrest Originated With Traffic Stop, Troopers Say

On 05/15/2026 at 1845 hours a Trooper conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. After additional observations and investigation, a search was conducted on the vehicle. Amphetamine was seized from Craig A. Craig of Copper Center. Craig was on conditions of release to obey all laws. After receiving crime lab results, an arrest warrant was issued for MICS 5 and VCOR. On 07/02/2026 Troopers arrested Craig on the warrant, and he is being held on $250 bail pending arraignment.
