On 07/25/2026 at approximately 2346 hours Glennallen AST responded to a disturbance near approximately mile 177 of the Glenn Highway.  Investigation revealed that Mariah McElwain, age 21 of Anchorage, assaulted a family member in the presence of a child and violated conditions of release for an open criminal court case stemming from the original charges of Indecent Exposure and Disorderly Conduct.  McElwain was placed under arrest and charged with Assault IV DV, Assault in the Presence of a Child, and Violating Conditions of Release.  McElwain was transported to Glennallen AST post to be held until arraignment.
