Two Overdue Women Found By NPS Rangers In McCarthy

Troopers Remind Public To Tell People Where They're Going

On 07/22/2026 at approximately 0947 hours, Troopers took a report of 2 overdue females in the Glennallen area. The last known location was in Glennallen. Troopers contacted the National Park Service Rangers in McCarthy who were able to locate the females. The females did not need any assistance and were just out enjoying Alaska.

The Troopers would like to remind the public to always let someone know your travel plans/itinerary prior to embarking on an adventure into the Alaska Wilderness.
