On July 21, 2026, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an assault involving a knife. The victim reported that Georgiana Elachik threatened him with an eight-inch kitchen knife inside his residence late on July 19. A witness on scene confirmed the details of the incident. Troopers contacted Elachik and subsequently arrested her for Assault in the Third Degree and for violating her conditions of release. Elachik was remanded to the Glennallen Post without incident.
