36-Year-Old Chitina Man Charged With Assault, Troopers Say

Man Pleads Guilty To Injuring Roommate In Chitina, According to Troopers

On 03/25/2023 at approximately 2035 hours, AST received a 911 call from the village of Chitina reporting an assault. Investigation revealed Michael Charley, age 36 of Chitina, had assaulted his roommate causing him injuries to his face. 

While placing Charley under arrest he resisted the troopers for several minutes. Charley was transported to the Glennallen State Trooper Post where he was held till arraignment. On 03/26/2023 at approximately 1000 hours, Charley was arraigned and plead guilty to all charges. Charley is being transported to MAT-SU Pretrial where he will be held till sentencing.
