Suspects Told Troopers They Stashed Stolen Bike By The Glenn Highway, Troopers Say  




Troopers Ask You To Contact Them If Somebody You Know Acquired A Red Bike "Overnight"

On 9/18/2022 at approximately 2127 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motorcycle theft at approximately Mile 128 of the Glenn Highway. 

Troopers quickly located the suspect’s vehicle southbound near Mile 101 of the Glenn. Investigation revealed John Moore, age 18 of Wasilla, and Tristan Donahoo, age 19 of Wasilla, stole a Honda dirt bike valued at approximately $2,400. Both males were arrested for Vehicle Theft 1st and Theft 2nd and transported to Palmer Pretrial where they were held until arraignment.

The suspects allegedly left the bike on the edge of the roadway between Mile 127 and Mile 128 of the Glenn Highway when spooked by the owner. It was potentially picked up by a passing motorist unrelated to the original theft. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the Red Honda 70cc dirt bike, or someone they know acquired one over-night, please text ‘AKTIPS’, followed by the information, to 847411.
