On 04/01/23 at 1656 hours, MATCOM received a report of an injured 20-year-old male who fell over 30 feet while ice climbing on Caribou Creek near mile 107 of the Glenn Highway. 

Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded to the scene and rendered aid to the unresponsive climber. RCC (AK Air National Guard) responded and airlifted the patient to a hospital in Anchorage where he was listed in critical condition.
