Type: Attempted Murder

Dispatch Text:

On 7/17/23, at 1557 hours, AST was called to Mile 49 Holiday Gas Station on the Parks Hwy in reference to a stabbing. Troopers responded and found a male victim lying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk outside the store.

Troopers quickly went inside and apprehended the suspect and secured the scene. Through investigation, it was learned the defendant, Antjuan Walker, age 24 of Wasilla, has a history of hostility with the victim and the act of violence was an outburst from the past issues the two shared. As a result, video evidence revealed that Walker charged the victim and proceeded to attack him with a large switch blade knife.

The victim was stabbed upwards of 7 times to the stomach, chest, and arm, which resulted in a large amount of blood loss. The victim was transported to MSRMC under a trauma alert and is currently in stable condition. At this time, Walker was arrested and remanded to MSPT where he is currently being held without bail under charges for Attempted Murder in the second degree and other charges in conjunction.
