The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a spending blueprint to cut Medicaid.  

Medicaid is a program that provides insurance for low-income families. Pregnant women can also get Medicaid. Seniors are on Medicaid. 

The House budget is targeting $880 billion in cuts, and Medicaid is expected to be among those cuts. According to Lisa Murkowski's office, one in three Alaskans is on Medicaid.
