Head of Association Of National Park Rangers Gave The News

Bill Wade, who is the executive director of the Association of National Park Rangers told CNN on Monday, February 24th, that Wrangell-St. Elias' only pilot has been fired.
The Park is the largest in America, and the cornerstone of the Copper River Valley. It covers 13.2 million acres, and, except for thin slivers of road into Nabesna to the north and McCarthy to the south, is completely roadless.
The Association of Park Rangers head told CNN: "Now how do they protect the wildlife and detect poaching activities or find somebody that's overdue in the park, or climbers in distress..."
