KCAM sent out a notice on March 16th regarding its plans for the future. The station said...
It's been a month since we said goodbye to our station manager and friend Scott Yahr, who passed into the presence of Jesus on February 1. It was a surprise to all of us, but we know that God is never surprised, that He knew exactly how many days Scott would be here with us. We know that Scott looked forward to his eternal home in Heaven, and he would want our listeners to hear and accept the salvation that is promised to all who believe in Him.
The broadcast ministry of KCAM continues. Though the people involved change, our mission remains the same, and the Voice of the Copper River Valley is sharing the gospel, along with local events and information. We are in the midst of high school basketball season, and we appreciate those who have stepped up to assist with those broadcasts, which are on AM790 as well as streamed online. Schedules are posted on the KCAM Facebook page.
Please pray:
- For the Lord's guidance during this time of transition
- For additional missionaries to join the team
- For the board of directors to have wisdom and discernment
- For Scott's family
