Watch For Deadly Moose Collisions While Driving In Early Morning On The Glenn Highway 



Only 40 Minutes After Anchorage Motorist Died In Moose Collision, Valdez Man Strikes Moose In The Same Location – By Eureka Lodge 

On Monday morning, May 24th at 2:35 am, an Anchorage man was killed and one of his two passengers seriously injured at Eureka at Mile 128 on the Glenn Highway. (See story in this Journal) 

Then, at 3:05 am that very same morning a second motorist, a 36-year old Valdez man, came along and he hit a moose too – just a mile away, at Mile 129. He was seriously injured, Troopers said. 

The Valdez victim's name was not released. He was taken to Mat-Su Regional in Palmer by EMS, Troopers said.
