There is still time to comment!
Please join us virtually for the third and final online open house for the McCarthy Road Planning & Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study (www.McCarthyRoadPEL.com).
The online open house will be available through July 25, 2025. We hope you started to browse the draft PEL Study Report to check how your feedback from last summer was incorporated, read about new data that was considered, and learn how road corridor improvements were evaluated.
The draft PEL Study Report is available for public review. We are seeking input on the identified 20 recommended solutions and assigned priorities. The report summarizes the process of identifying transportation-related needs and recommending improvements for the road corridor.
After the online open house, the study team will consider and incorporate feedback and finalize the PEL Study Report by this fall. The intent of the PEL study is to help future project sponsors use the documentation to seek funding and plan to move projects forward in the near- and long-term.
Thank you on behalf of the PEL study team. We appreciate your interest and involvement!

Summer greetings!
Please join us virtually for the third and final online open house for the McCarthy Road Planning & Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study (Online Open House).
The online open house will be available from June 6 through July 25, 2025.
Since we last spoke, the study team incorporated public and stakeholder feedback from last summer, considered additional data (such as a geotechnical investigation near mile 58), and evaluated road corridor improvement options for inclusion in the draft PEL Study Report.
The draft PEL Study Report is available for public review. We are seeking input, especially on the identified 20 recommended solutions and assigned priorities.
