Keeping Things On Hand In Case You Have Coronavirus
The Country Journal asked CRNA for some help in figuring out what people need handy in an emergency "Coronavirus Kit" if they get Covid-19 and have to quarantine at home. CRNA had some great ideas, because various Indian Health organizations had already come up with items for tribal members. CRNA put the items together, using their staff, and sent the completed kits back to the village tribal administrators for distribution in the villages.Here's what a kit might include, to help you weather an incident of coronavirus at home:

- Cloth face masks
- Box of nitrile gloves
- Box of tissues
- Hand soap for washing your hands in warm water
- Hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol or better
- Extra bath and hand towels for your use only
- Pillow cases, bed sheet and blankets
- Disposable plates, cups, bowls and utensils to reduce cleaning issues
- Household thermometer
- Pulse oximeter -- that little device on your finger to measure oxygen levels
- Reusable water bottles and 6 gallon water container to keep you hydrated
