The Copper River School District will be giving out Chromebooks soon to students who are enrolled in "Traditional" schooling this year. A "Traditional" student is one who comes to the school and works in a classroom.

Chromebooks will be distributed to Traditional students on August 31st, the first day of school, Superintendent Therese Ashton told the Country Journal on August 27th.

Most students who are taking "Remote" schooling this year have already received their Chromebooks, she said. If you haven't gotten your computer, call the school to make sure you're properly enrolled, and to make an appointment for pickup of the device.

The school's phone number is 822-3234.
