Copper River School District 2021-2022Mitigation Plan For Covid-19
The following is a summary of the school district's plans to address the problems of Covid-19. This information is adapted from the web page, "Mitigation Plan, 2021-2022" on the school district website:
MASKING is encouraged in school buildings.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING & "COHORTS/PODS". Social distancing, when appropriate, in unventilated rooms.
HANDWASHING & SNEEZING. Handwashing, covering coughs, sneezing into tissue or bent elbow. Sanitizers will be available throughout the school's buildings.
CLEANING facilities and maintaining VENTILATION. Buildings will be cleaned on a daily basis, especially touch surfaces. Large spaces such as gyms will be sprayed with disinfectants.
CONTACT TRACING along with isolation and quarantines, in coordination with local and state health departments. The district will work with local clinics and health care providers, and determine protocols for quarantine or isolation.
DIAGNOSTIC & screening testing. To be referred to local health care providers.
VACCINATIONS. "CRSD will support our local clinics in their efforts to vaccinate any member of our community. We will provide easy access for our staff and community if opportunities arise."
