The Copper River School District Theatre classes are performing a new play on Thursday March 24th, Wednesday the 25th, and Monday the 28th at 6:30 p.m in the Glennallen HS Auditorium.

The play’s main character is a nerdy, book-loving man, named Myron Bernhart, who contemplates murdering his wife because she disapproves of his obession with books and tries to sell them off. His obsession with books even leads to him buying a book on murder, called “Murder for Dummies” to carry out his devious plan.

But things take a turn for the worst!

Come watch our performance to support the theatre students and follow the story of Myron Bernhart.

Theatre students take a break from rehearsal and have fun with a little Improv (spontaneous acting) on our set for "Murder for Dummies." Pictured from L to R are Theatre 2 students Mia Ranck, Ambrosia Wood, Trevor Dolge, Connor Miller, Landin Robinson, Bella Ranck, and Nemo Somers

After Act 1 there will be an intermission, where the cast and crew will prepare for Act 2 and the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy popcorn in the commons in support of the Theatre students’ trip to Anchorage to see a professional production of the classic musical “The King and I.” Admission is completely free and donations are greatly appreciated.
