Scam Calls From "State Police" Have Asked For Financial & Personal Information

Troopers Say Beware Of Calls From 907 262-4453 Asking For Information & Claiming To Be From "Alaska State Police" 

TROOPER REPORT, MARCH 4TH, 2024 

On 3/4/2024, Alaska State Troopers began taking several calls from persons claiming to be the "AK State Police" and asking for financials and other private, personal information.  

The fraudulent callers reported claims had been made against the individuals and that Troopers were coming to their houses.  The caller ID on the calls showed as "907-262-4453", the Alaska State Trooper dispatch number. 

The Alaska State Troopers will not and do not call persons asking for financial or personal information to settle or address claims or pending cases.
