The government of Canada held a press conference Saturday afternoon, February 11th, to discuss shooting down another unidentified flying object. It was a day after one had been downed near Prudhoe Bay in Alaska.

Canada is a bilingual country. Speaking in both English and French, Canada's Defense Minister, Anita Anand, made the point that it was not known if the object came from China. She said it was smaller than the original balloon that was shot down off North Carolina's coast last week, and that it was "cylindrical in nature."

The NORAD defense system, which combines Canadian and US air defenses, shot down the object around 100 miles of the border. Apparently JBER pilots were involved, and the successful strike came from a US plane, most likely out of JBER in Anchorage.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be involved in trying to recover pieces of the downed craft. As of Saturday evening, February 11th, almost nothing was known further by the public regarding either of the unidentified crafts that were struck down over Alaska and Canada during the last two days.
