Help Plant 'Native Seeds & Plants' At Mile 74 Of The Richardson At Little Tonsina September 6th

 

You're Invited to the Little Tonsina Revegetation Day!

Join us on Saturday, September 6, 10 am - 2 pm, at Milepost 74 on the Richardson Highway for the Little Tonsina Revegetation Day! A BBQ lunch will be served, and transportation is available.  Get outside with your community and help plant native seeds and plants along the banks of the Little Tonsina river where the bridge construction project disturbed the ground. Your time and effort will help restore important habitats along the river, while you have fun! This event is open to everyone and is hosted by Copper River Native Association (CRNA), Tribal Community Services, and Copper River Watershed Project. Tribal Community Services can provide transportation from CRNA on the day of the event  (email Cmerrick@crnative.org to book).
