 Raymond Neeley Had Served On Ahtna, CRNA, Copper Basin Housing & Gulkana Village Council Boards

Ray Neeley, one of the surviving children of the late Ahtna Traditional Chief Ben Neeley of Gulkana and his wife, Hazel, died in January, 2022. He was born in 1959 and was in his early 60s when he passed away. 

Raymond Neeley was part of a large local family. 

He had served as a board member on a number of local organizations, including the Gulkana Village Council. 

FUNERAL

According to both CRNA and Ahtna, Ray Neeley's funeral services will follow the following format:

Wednesday, January 26th
At 10 am, the funeral will leave the Anchorage funeral home.

There will be a visitation, in person and online, at 7 pm on Wednesday night. 


Thursday, January 27th 
At 1 pm, the funeral and burial will be held at Gulkana cemetery, outdoors. 

Then a sack lunch will be available for pickup after the service at the Gulkana Village Hall.

Special Safety Concerns
If you participate, a mask is required, and so is social distancing. 

The family wrote:
Due to the pandemic, the family asks you to stay home if you have any symptoms. The visitation is open but is at your own risk. We encourage you to attend the visitation online to avoid risk of exposure.
