The State of Alaska, Department of Health & Social Services, keeps official records of Covid for people in the Copper Valley census area.

Covid rates in the region appear to be climbing.

Here's a rundown of what the state recorded for our region in the past few weeks.

STATE OF ALASKA REPORTS...
January 26 - January 27: 22 cases
January 28 - January 30: 3 cases
January 31 - February 1: 21 cases
February 2 - February 3: 7 cases

February 4 - February 6: 12 cases
February 7 - February 8: 3 cases
February 9 - February 10: 19 cases
February 11 - February 13: 10 cases

Note: Not all cases of Covid are reported, so these numbers are likely lower than the actual amount. These cases from the state appear to include additional positive reports taken at testing places outside the valley, as well as locally.
