47-Year-Old Woman Stabs Man In Chest in Tazlina, Troopers Say

On 04/23/2023 at approximately 0654 hours, AST received a report of a male who was stabbed in the chest near Tazlina. 

The female suspect was identified as Yolanda DeWitt, age 47, of Tazlina. Investigation revealed Dewitt was in a verbal altercation with a male acquaintance when she stabbed in the chest and cut his left hand/arm with a pocket knife. 

The male left the scene and sought help from a neighbor. AST arrested DeWitt for Assault 2nd and transported her to MAT-SU Pretrial following arraignment and is being held with a $5,000 performance bond and 3rd party custodian.
