Man Operating Vehicle Under The Influence, Troopers Say

On 5/12/2022 at approximately 0011 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a vehicle for a moving violation near Mile 187.5 of the Glenn Highway. The male was identified as Michael Rego, age 40, of Glennallen. Investigation revealed Rego was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. 

Rego was transported to Glennallen Post and provided a breath sample of 0.084 BrAC. Rego was given a date to appear in court and released on his own recognizance to a sober party.
