DUI Arrest For Influence Driving At Mile 46 Richardson, Troopers Say

Troopers Say Pickup Swerving Across Road

On 5/8/2022 at approximately 1352 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a REDDI report near Mile 46 of the Richardson Highway. A white 2000 Ford Ranger pickup was reported to be swerving all over the road almost going head on with another vehicle. Investigation revealed Todd Gonko, age 49 of Glennallen, was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. 

Gonko was arrested on scene for Operating Under the Influence and transported to Glennallen Post. Gonko was held until sober then released on his own recognizance.
