Man Accused Of Reckless Endangerment Of A Child, Troopers Say

On 5/16/2022 at approximately 2054 hours, Alaska State Troopers and Village Public Safety Officers responded to a residence near Mile 187 of the Glenn Highway for a reported assault. Investigation revealed Derek Mahle, age 33, of Glennallen, assaulted a family member and recklessly engaged in conduct that placed a child in risk of physical injury.
Mahle was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree (DV) and Reckless Endangerment, he was transported to Glennallen Post and held until arraignment.
