Troopers Say 23-Year Old Copper Center Woman Found In Possession Of Substance Suspected To Be Heroin.

The Glennallen Troopers, in an unusual statement, have asked local people to call them or to submit an anonymous tip if they have information about drugs in the Copper Valley.

On 05/04/2022 at approximately 1815 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a search warrant on a residence in Copper Center. Lia Miller, age 23 of Copper Center, was found to be in possession of approximately 2.3 grams of a substance suspected to be heroin in 12 individual dime sized baggies, a scale, a syringe with a substance suspected to be heroin, and 30 clean dime sized baggies. 

 Miller was arrested and charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree. Miller was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she is held with a $35,000 bail.
