Ahtna Elder Nick Jackson Celebrates Birthday

Nick Jackson Honored On Ahtna Facebook Site

On October 26th, 2021, Ahtna Inc. honored Nicholas Jackson of Gulkana Village on its Facebook site as he celebrated his birthday. 

Nick Jackson has had a long career of service in the Copper Valley. He was born in Copper Center, and served in the military. He's worked in construction. 

He has also served for many years on the Gulkana Village Council, on Ahtna's board of directors, and on committees to preserve hunting and fishing rights and to protect habitat and renewable resources.

Nick Jackson is a member of the Udzisyu (Caribou) Clan.
