Rollovers On The Glenn Highway Monday Afternoon, October 25th

Roads to Anchorage are basically still good as October draws to an end. However, icy stretches do exist along the Glenn Highway.

A red pickup was lying on its side on the Moose Creek curve, just past the bridge at around 5:30 pm Monday, October 25th. Fire trucks and police responded. Troopers said there were no injuries reported.

There was another rollover, later in the evening, near the Nelchina Highway Camp. For some reason, there was a 2-mile stretch of snow-and-ice covered road at around Mile 143. Injuries were involved, said Troopers. No names were given.
