On 10/26/21 Tok AST responded to the Tok clinic for report of a patient who had been injured in an assault. Investigation revealed Leonard John, age 67 of Mentasta had assaulted a friend in Mentasta Village, causing serious physical injury.
AST responded to Mentasta and ultimately arrested John who was transported to Tok AST Post and remanded on 1 count of Assault 2nd Degree and 1 count of Assault 4th Degree.
