Troopers Say: 26-Year-Old From Anchorage Eluded Them For 6 Miles at 100 MPH Before Crashing In Ditch


Arrested For Felony On Glenn Highway Outside Of Glennallen

On 9/2/22 at approximately 1739 hours, Glennallen AST attempted to stop a 2018 Toyota Camery near mile 166 of the Glenn Hwy for speeding 111MPH in a 65 MPH zone while passing a line of cars in inclement weather. 

The vehicle failed to stop and continued in excess of 100 MPH for approximately 6 miles before entering the ditch. The driver was identified as Brenden Deguzman age 26 of Anchorage. Brenden was checked by EMS and had no injuries. Brenden was arrested for felony elude and transported to the Glennallen Trooper Post where he was held until arraignment.
