On 08-31-22, at 1102 hours, AST Patrol and BHP responded to a welfare check of two persons passed out in a vehicle at the Knik River overlook off the Old Glenn Hwy.  

One of the subjects was identified as Walter A Shuravloff Jr, age 42, of Palmer.  Walter was determined to have a federal arrest warrant from the US Marshall's for a weapon violation.  Walter was arrested on the warrant at the request of the US Marshall.  

Walter was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held with no bail.
