43-Year-Old Fairbanks Woman Charged By Troopers With DUI & Reckless Endangerment, Troopers Say

Troopers Say They Received REDDI Report After High Rates Of Speed, & Failing To Maintain Lane. Pulled Over Near Gulkana Village Entry To Richardson Highway

On 06/02/2023 at approximately 1721 hours, AST received a report of a light colored Chevy pickup truck driving at high rates of speed and failing to maintain its lane near Glennallen. 

AST located the vehicle near mile 124 of the Richardson Highway and identified the driver as Lori Bishop, age 43, of Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Lori was driving under the influence with two juveniles in the vehicle. Lori provided a sample of her breath resulting in .289 BrAC. Lori is currently being held on Driving Under Influence and Reckless Endangerment.
