In The Copper Valley The June Moon's Nightly Visits Are Brief.

And Sometimes The Moon Doesn't Bother To Show Up At All.

In June the full moon rose on June 2nd and then promptly set. It didn't rise again until June 4th.

In The Copper Valley:
A June Moon Is Hard To Find

The moon in June is hard to see  – not just because of the long daylight hours but also because it stays below the horizon most of the day.

Take for instance the June full moon, which for most of the world stayed in the sky all night long. In the Copper Valley, it rose at 10:19 pm on June 2nd and on full moon day – June 3rd – it set at 3:18 am. It didn't rise again all day. So no one in the Copper Valley saw the actual full moon which reached its peak at 7:43 pm.

The moon did come back and visit on June 5th just after midnight at 12:28 pm, but promptly went back to bed again less than 3 hours later at 3:13 am.

On Monday, June 5th, don't even bother to look for the moon because it is not even going to make a brief appearance. Nada, nope, not even a peek over the horizon.
