Troopers Say Traffic Stop For Failure To Maintain Lane

On 06/26/2022 at approximately 0004 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a black Toyota pickup truck for failing to maintain its lane at mile marker 85 of the Richardson Highway. The driver was identified as Gustafer Degner, age 43 of Tonsina and his juvenile daughter was the front passenger. Gustafer refused SFST's and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI. Gustafer submitted a sample of his breath resulting in .146 BrAC. Gustafer was released once sober with a dater to appear in court.
